Danske Mobler proudly uses premium quality leathers from Tasman Tanning in Whanganui and gorgeous fabrics from leading suppliers such as Warwick, Charles Parsons and James Dunlop.
Fabric Care
For longevity, we recommend avoiding prolonged, direct sunlight as this can cause premature aging and deterioration to the fabric.
To help resist staining and make cleaning easier on our NZ made fabrics, we suggest treating them with a fabric protector.
Leather Care
Leather is a natural product and each hide is different in its structure and grain appearance. Variations to the grain, heal marks, stretch and growth lines are what gives leather its unique qualities and genuine feel.
All leather will stretch and form comfort creases as a result of being sat on, but to keep your NZ made leather looking fresh you can wipe your lounge suites down with a damp cloth.
When cleaning your lounge suite, we suggest avoiding household cleaning products as these may cause permanent damage to the leather. Instead, we recommend the Pellé Leather Care System.
If you’re wanting to give your furniture a transformation or a fresh new look, a quality re-upholster is often all that is required to give your furniture a new lease of life.
We offer a comprehensive service for all upholstered furniture. We will evaluate the overall condition of the internal components (foam, springs, webbing) and our furniture consultants will help you choose a new fabric and leather from our wide collection.
